The SMG/Neighbor team joined Anna Getty, Tatiana von Fürstenberg, Meeno Peluce, Darren Moore, Matt Peterson and other top sustainability executives at Opportunity Green’s VIP Party at Environment Furniture Showroom, an eco-friendly furniture store in West Hollywood. Karen Soloman and Mike Flynn, the co-founders of Opportunity Green, aimed to bring influencers, leaders, and thinkers from the green space under one (eco-friendly) roof. There was a strong sense of community at the party as familiar faces made the rounds hoping from one organic cotton couch to the next. Cha Mueller, West Coast Brand Director Dwell Magazine, was elated saying “Opportunity Green always inspires, and in this venue it was just electric.” Attendees “ouhed” and “awed” the new electric MINI E parked onsite as they sipped Veev basil gimlets, Casa Barranca organic wines, local organic beer from Skyscraper Brewing Company and Honest Tea. Guests snacked on O Burger burgers and fries, Locali snowcones (which obviously included Veev), Real Food Daily vegan/organic desserts (the ginger cake with caramel icing will be remembered), and Chocolove XOXOX. Hands down, the best feature of the party was the old-school photo booth that captured guests making silly faces. Two copies of all pictures were printed: one copy for those brave enough to step into the booth, and the other copy for Opportunity Green. In addition to collecting photographs, Opportunity Green also collected business cards and plans to build a visual networking web. Opportunity Green never ceases to bring together a group of influential people for a good time!
